Layer one: defect screening
Defect screening inspects core parts, including the valve body and its solenoids, and removes parts that are worn, deformed, fatigued or out of tolerance instead of returning them to service. Screening is a gate, not a repair: a part that fails screening does not proceed to reassembly. A buyer who understands screening can ask the right question, which is not whether parts were looked at, but whether failed parts were removed.
Layer two: bench testing
Bench testing covers solenoids, sensors and valve body assemblies with electronic and hydraulic checks: oil flow, pressure stability, shift response and sealing. Where screening asks whether a part is fit to proceed, bench testing asks whether the assembled or supplied unit works. The two layers answer different questions, and an inspection inquiry should ask about both.
Cleaning and wear parts between the layers
Between screening and testing sit cleaning and wear-part replacement. Reusable metal and hydraulic parts pass multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning, and high-frequency wear parts are replaced. Inspection therefore covers the condition of parts going in, the cleaning and replacement work in the middle, and the bench result coming out. A buyer who asks only about the final test misses the first two stages.
What an inspection inquiry should ask
- Whether defect screening covered the valve body and solenoids in the order, and whether failed parts were removed.
- Whether bench testing covered oil flow, pressure stability, shift response and sealing, and whether it covered the item alone or fitted in the assembly.
- Whether gaskets and sealing surfaces were included in the inspection scope.
- What packaging and warranty apply. Warranty is at least 1 year.
Valve body inspection on this site means screening plus bench testing, as stated above.
